 " Good university overall. Good, helpful faculty. Lots of options available for STEM courses, excellent CS/EE departments, and math and physics faculty are very helpful to students as well. Hostels are good enough, food on campus is pricey, but there's a lot of options for those who can afford it. Be ready to spend at least 200-300 rupees on every meal you have there. Not too much individually but adds up quick. Lots of societies too. Very social school. "

 " It is one of the only few universities that deploy the liberal arts education system in Pakistan. The freedom of choosing courses and majoring/minoring in different fields is the most unique aspect of LUMS as compared to other Pakistani universities. "

 " Good exposure to future opportunities (grad schools or industry) if you know the instructors and actually work for it with a plan. There's always plenty of extracurricular options like sports, events by societies etc that students can participate in even without society membership. "

 " In the engineering program the first year is a foundation course and you have to go through a live enrollment. In my case I chose sections of the core courses with instructors that I had heard about being good. A week after enrollment I get an email that they are changing my sections because THEY can't accommodate students in other sections due to clashes. It was and is extremely unfair that they give us an option and then forcefully make us change it. Maybe they will do something about this but my review will not. The fact that they are doing this is just insane to me "

 " A very good institute overall. The faculty is really good and I’m quit happy with my decision. The Job prospects are really good and I would advice college graduates aiming to get into business and economics to apply to this university. "
