" You learn to be an active part of your community even in the littlest ways from the day you take your first class. You'll encounter all sorts of professors that will give you - one way or another - something you'll use for the rest of your life. You'll be in class with some of the brightest in the nation who come from all walks of life, and you'll learn so much from discussions with them (or even just listening to them). The campus is incredible and was one of the things that pulled me here :) Hope you enjoy your time here. "

" I love UPLB. The professors are excellent and the campus is really beautiful. Staff are also accommodating. In terms of academics, it is really competitive. The culture is nice. Economics in UPLB is also tought yet interesting, I learned a lot. "

" The university has a really strong academic atmosphere, especially in the natural sciences. The campus is big and lively, and there are always things happening both inside and outside the classroom. I like that there are plenty of opportunities to get involved, whether that is through organisations, research, or just meeting people from different courses. It feels like a place that pushes you to grow while still having a strong sense of community. "

" Academics are top notch, professors and administrators are all great, although the facilities may need some improvement it is still good considering it is a state university. And you will meet a lot of people of different origins and different stories. Here you can be who you want to be and that is what I like most about this university. "

" From my personal experience, the online set-up is manageable; however the workload can be a bit tedious at times. I have not experienced studying in the actual campus so I'm not sure if my rating is that accurate. "
