" The teachers have good intentions and most of them are good at what they do. They are open to new ideas and are willing to help you when developing a project. There are many presentations done by different companies and it is easy to find an internship because of this. It is a great place to create a knowledge basis, as long as you are the type of student that already know what you want - otherwise you should probably be aware that the density of the subjects is too low for what the industry requires. Another bad aspect would be that the building is poorly equipped: old computers that break during exams, sometimes no heat during winter, broken bathrooms etc. Also, exams and classes are sometimes very poorly organized. "

" It's a good university over all from an academic perspective. The teachers are really good and helpful with the students and help them when it's needed. There are a lot of opportunities to learn from people from the industry and international learning opportunities. "

" I am satisfied with the way the campus and the amphitheatres look and how clean and equipped they are. There are some places you can buy mostly sandwiches from or other snacks and coffee, so no canteen but I don't mind it much. I also recommend the library as a good place to study. The professors are also nice and flexible, the type you can ask for help easily. Overall happy with my experience of studying here. "

" I am doing a second bachelor's degree and was part of the first cohort of students in the newly established Cognitive Sciences program. The program per se is meant to be an interdisciplinary one, which is why I have joined it. My experience was more of multi-disciplinarity than of a true interdisciplinary approach to instruction, in the sense that we had courses held by professors from different faculties, who were still very rooted in their own fields. And since we were the first cohort to take the program, it felt like a bit of trial phase, with quite a few hick-ups, like courses given in the wrong order and so on. Still, I believe improvements are already in place for the next generations and my experience in this second degree program in the University on Bucharest is far superior to the one I had doing my first one, 20 years before, in Sociology. We had academic staff from US teaching online, which was great. What is still lacking is a proper laboratory for cognitive sciences, although steps are being taken towards one. "

" Overall it is a very good university. The teachers might differ from a faculty to another but most of them are good and understanding people. My whole experience was online so I can't say to much about the campus. "
