 " Studying at Saint Petersburg State University has been a proud experience for me. The academic environment is serious and research focused, and you feel the history around you. Professors expect a lot, but that pushes you to improve. It feels prestigious but also challenging. "

 " Generally speaking, it's one of the best Universities in our country, that provides a wide range of facilities. Most of the academic staff are competent. I don't use sports facilities much, but I've heard that there are no complaints. Althought there is always no limit to perfection? this university is one of the best. "

 " A decent university. The authorities are too pushy, though. Be prepared to be brainwashed by propaganda. The teachers are completely adequate and competent, though. I wouldn’t recommend to attend this university on a paid basis but for free education it’s pretty nice. "

 " Professors are really nice, but I guess there is still room for improvement in terms of providing students with proper studying conditions (more computers, places for studying, eating, etc.).
Also, social scene is really poor. There are few social activities at the university.

 " I think it's the best university in Saint-Petersburg. You feel free here, especially if you are a foreigner, because there is excellent programme for exchange students, where I took part (in its organisation). "
