" I love the campus, it is very vibrant and there are a lot of areas that students can do their self-study at. Most of my classes are conducted in seminar style which means there is a good prof:student ratio in a class. The interactive class sessions help a lot in my learning and the professors are also very capable in their teachings. There are also a wide selection of food available in campus, so you dont have to be afraid of being hungry. There are a lot of opportunities open for students be it joining a CCA or case competitions or even overseas exchange programmes. There is also a career service centre to assist you in your job search or building up your resume and interview skills. I would say the university is full of opportunities and resources, just a matter of how you are gonna utilize it and learn to take advantage of the resources! "

" An awesome university to where diversity is encouraged and discussions are promoted. The academic staffs are generally very friendly and willing to fork out extra time for consultations and answer our questions. The facilites are good, with easy access to booking venues for whatever purposes. Just note that many facilities like canteen, libraries are under renovation for now! So, do look out for the new buildings if you are joining! "

" A stressful environment definitely not for people who are not from Asian countries. The workload is much heavier compared to universities in the WEST. I think most international students end up here due to financial reasons. The university has a huge scholarship programme. The lecturers for my modules are a hit and miss. "

" NUS has come a long way in its relatively short history. No doubt, it attracts top talent from Singapore and the region. However, as an institution, it is not forward thinking. It takes its cues mostly from the government and corporations and companies operating in Singapore which, one the one hand, is, understandable, but it is not adventurous or confident enough in encouraging and shaping the kind of thinking and argumentation that can be contrarian but also necessary for positive, meaningful change. The administration and management board is staffed by people with outdated, "conservative" mindsets that seek more to protect the interests of the school than of its raison d'etre - the students. "
