" The UPM is the best technical university of Spain, with its key strengths in providing a very solid technical foundation to its students in terms of analytical and scientific skills. It is also very renowned in the country for the difficulty of its studies, around 35% of the freshmen don't finish their degrees, so a degree from TU Madrid can secure you a job in almost any field in the whole of Spain. It is assumed you know how to handle stressing situations and work your way around any solvable problem.
Nevertheless its shadows lie more in modernity and actuality of the content of its studies. Faculties need actualization in their facilities and especially in their teaching methods. There is also too many professors with very little clue of how to properly teach their subjects. In any way, this is compensated by the sheer number of them, you can always find a different class to attend.
Finally, the UPM enjoys being in the city of Madrid, one of the most vibrant cities in Spain. Accomodation is tough to find and expensive, but Madrid has a night life and an ambience like no other in the world "
