 " This university is really good. The courses are interesting, the professors are well educated and speak about interesting things and teach us well. The facilities of my university are good, with sports choice, different houses. The city of Zurich is a student city with many bars and restaurants to offer. All in all a really cool place to study.  " For native students, I think the institute is nice. For an international student, not so much. It is tough to make friends sometimes because people here only speak English when talking to you directly then switch to German when talking to each other (not just my experience but also from other international students). Some lecture slides are even in German and they expect you to just go with it and some faculties don't speak English well despite the fact that the official language of this master program is English. In one practical course, they separate groups into German speaking students and International students and I still don't understand why. Overall experience is disappointing to be honest and I sometimes think that Zhaw is not prepared enough to take international students. The location of campus is also inconvenient in a way that 3 different main buildings are separated through out the town. There are some social events but most of the time everyone is just in a hurry going back to HB or their home because there aren't any bars nor restaurants to socialize in. "

 " Overall it's a good university but there are major problems within the administrative organization with staff being chaotic, wrongly allocated students for the exchange year and false promises in some situations (grades, handling during Covid-19 pandemic etc) "

 " Amazing university, the projects we are doing are directly connected with the companies and it gives us a better understanding of business. The masters is intense, but a lot of fun! Definitely worth it! "

 " The ZHAW is a very good university focussed on hands-on know-how and a lot of projects where you can apply your theoretical knowledge. Also, the technical facilities are very good. During the first wave of the pandemic, the switch to digital classes went over smoothly and the exams took place digitally as well without any problems (for me, at least). "
