" I was born and raised in Fribourg and really appreciate the city and the university of Fribourg, especially for its bilingual culture, French and German are at the heart of the city and the university. Fribourg is a typical student/university city and therefore offers a rich and diverse academic and nightlife program along the week. "

" University of Fribourg is a relatively small college, so there’s a sense of community with all the students (big WhatsApp groups with everyone in your major, students exchanging notes etc). The city in itself is pretty expensive because it’s Switzerland. The professors are great. What lacks may be clubs (it’s not at all like in the us), and there’s few places to sit to eat a meal. Fribourg is a city “made of students” so it’s really fun to study there :) "

" I love this campus, and my field of studies is very interesting. Maybe one thing is that I might have preferred more practical skills, because academical skills are not always enough to immediately find a job after the studies. "

" A great university and student experience can be had in Fribourg. Thanks to the small-ish size of the city, anywhere you go is within walking-distance and you'll end up constantly meeting acquaintances and friends when you're out and about. The university offers many courses in both German and French, and at Master level, many are in English. If you involve yourself enough, you can become quite friendly with the teaching staff, which can be quite rewarding during your studies. "
