" I enjoyed my time at the UZH a lot. The freedom of being able to put together your own schedule, however, is both a blessing and a curse. If you decide to pursue a major and a minor/ two majors in very different directions (e.g. I had Japanese studies and English), be prepared for many major clashes in the time schedule. You will miss classes and it will probably take you 1-2 years longer to finish your Bachelor. Overall, social life was great. There are many events hosted by different clubs. Gyms with various types of equiment are there for you to use if you pay the small fee of... eh... 10-15 Francs per year? "

" Really well organized (information provided via mail and on the web). It is easy reachable from the main train station. A big variety of food options for lunch time and dinner. Enough learning places (in the library and some good silent working spaces throughout the building) "

" I think it's a great place to study. No regrets. The people are really friendly and helpful. There is a sense of community. And a lot of things happening. It's expensive in Switzerland but for locals, the fees are quite low. Next to the University is the Tech campus and you are able to visit those facilities as well. "

" UZH Center is a nice building and the food is ok. I lived near by so that was a big plus because the trams in the morning are pretty full. There are a lot of different buildings and also in every main building you have a gym with a lot of sports classes. "

" I really enjoy studying at the University of Zurich. They introduced vegan cafeterias and in the beginning of the pandemic, they gave out interest free loans for all students who lost their jobs and a large part of it did not have to be paid back. They could, however, improve on current Covid regulations, as I cought Covid on campus due to mask mandates being partially lifted and had strong symptoms, which lead to me missing 3 weeks of class. This is rather disappointing "
