 " the lecturers on this campus are divided between very good and very bad. some of them really make you want to learn and participate in the lecture, others, on the other hand, make you sleepy. the library facilities are very good. the building itself is modern, clean and have lots of space to learn. You can find a separate room where no one will bother you. I have enjoyed free evening sports activities such as badminton. Food on campus is cheap and really tasty. "

 " Department of Psychology could use some improvement. Harsh marking with not much feedback. Campus costs quite high, not a great campus for social events. Accommodation costs extremely high and unreasonable. "

 " I am in my 3rd year at University of Essex. I am studying Bsc Psychology with cognitive neuroscience. I have found my course really interesting. The academics are really nice and helpful. The staff work hard to make the material engaging and well delivered. The social side has been mixed at times, but overall I am happy that I chose Essex for my degree. It is a very research oriented university and I will definitely consider it for my postgraduate studies. "

 " I enjoy studying here, I like my course and I think that the academic and administrative staff are really good. The Southend campus is fairly small and there is a nice community feeling to it.
Nice campus overall, there is always room for improvement but the university and student union are always looking out for students and reacting to their feedback which helped to improve the campus over the years. "

 " I was a live at home student so I can't attest for the accommodation but from my friends experience it was not worth the money. Most of my lecturers are really nice but some just read off a powerpoint which could have been done from home. "
