 " I am happy with the course. The lecturers are helpful and supportive. There are no exams, which is great, as the assessment is mainly coursework and projects. This allows me to focus more on understanding the material rather than memorising content. Overall, I feel the programme is well structured and relevant to my field of study. "

 " Overall, I was very happy with my experiences at the University of Hull. My undergraduate degree in Psychology was very interesting and covered a wide range of topics - from philosophy to animal cognition to neuropsychology to clinical. I found that the staff were always willing to meet with you if you were struggling with assignments or student life. The 7 story library is also brilliant. However, my only issue was that feedback and grades often took a lot longer to reach you than was originally stated.

The campus is absolutely lovely and a beautiful place to be. It has a wide range of places to eat and drink, and the food was always high quality (if a little expensive in my opinion). I can't comment on the affordability of student life in Hull as I chose to live at home, but I find Hull to be affordable in general. The social scene is fantastic, with many pubs and clubs available - there is even a brilliant pub and nightclub on campus. The pub often runs themed quizzes (marvel, harry potter etc.) which are always fun.

Personally, I did engage with student mental health services and I found them so helpful. While I was in crisis they arranged for somebody to see me straight away, and this support continued for as long as I needed it. They gave me advice for requesting extensions on assignments to help reduce the pressure and referred me to 'Let's Talk' for a course of counselling.

In general, I would definitely recommend Hull University to any prospective students :) "

 " Great range of animal based courses with knowledgeable staff. Set in a lovely rural area of the country, however transport links are good. There is a pub in walking distance if you want something different for lunch. The college has on site kennels and grooming facilities if you need to bring your canine companions with you. "

 " The University is one I'd definitely recommend! The library there has 7 floors and looks beautiful at night. The lecture halls vary in sizes, so it's very easy to meet new people on your course. From my experience, the staff are always ready to help, whether that be lecturers or the online support team. It's somewhere I always learn whilst feeling like I am safe. "
