" This university is a good overall option. If you are a fan of big cities and want to have lots of things to do in the city, then you will be disappointed. The historical vibe of the city centre is nice and chill. If you're after a laid back time, then Lancaster is probably for you. Lots of societies too, which is good for making friends and learning new skills!
The psychology course itself is good, and most lecturers are nice, although sometimes there is less support than you might want in terms of assignments etc.
The campus gym is pretty good, just avoid peak times to actually be able to use anything. "

" Lancaster University has a beautiful campus and lots of wonderful staff. I've always felt safe here and there's always help available in case of an emergency. However, I don't think the university has handled the covid pandemic well: There are little to no enforcements for wearing masks in full lecture halls, and I was required to return to campus after a full year of online studying even though the pandemic is still raging. Additionally, living on campus is pretty pricey, and the wifi sucks in certain rooms and certain places on campus. I really do love the campus ducks though. "

" Lancaster University is quite a good uni. The campus itself is not large, meaning it is not as intimidating as larger or more populous universities. However, this also means it can be somewhat lacking in things to do on the actual campus. Each of the colleges that comprise the Uni have their own bars and there are a wealth of restaurants, cafes and takeaways. The sports facilities are wide-ranging, however, the memberships for these can be expensive. I have found my Psychology degree to be enjoyable and the workload fairly manageable. A majority of the teaching staff are helpful and come across as really interested in their areas of expertise. Some students have felt let down in some areas, especially with regards to marking and feedback on work, the attitude of some staff members, and poor organisation and communication by the Psychology department. However, I have really enjoyed my time at Lancaster, so far. "

" Fab university with great facilities and teaching staff. It’s a community feel with the enclosed campus with a smaller number of students so you really feel support and a friendly atmosphere during your learning. "
