" I did my undergrad here and now doing a postgrad. In terms of recommending this institute, I don't think that I will. Although through 1st and 2nd year of undergrad were pleasant, since 3rd year and now the postgrad, studying here has become particularly taxing on my mental health and I wouldn't want them to experience the same thing Regarding the food options, I normally brought lunch from home or I ate out with friends off campus but some areas like the food market outside of (Humbridge?) were nice and I would reccomend those areas to people Regarding the computer labs, I feel like in the last few years it has become increasingly harder to find spots on computer hubs. As someone who lives quite far from the uni and has to commute it is very annoying to have had to book in days in advance to use a computer at uni Seminars and labs did record attendance but most lectures did not I did feel safe on campus, would even walk to my car by myself at night, but be aware that behind zochonis some people were zooming past on bikes and snatching people's phones!! Regarding clubs and societies, there were a few but I never really got into any of them as I lived from home for the entirety of me being a student. The wifi - eduroam was so easy to hook up to and I never had any problems with it Regarding student support, I would say that yes I was happy with it overall. my mental health was quite poor this year and the counselling that I have received has been really approachable and friendly. The academic staff can be hit or miss. I have had some lecturers who I adore and I know I can ask them for help and they will try their best to help me but I have also had some lecturers who have really put me off, are unenthusiastic and I can tell just generally do not want to be there. Currently, my postgrad supervisor is really lovely and honestly one of the reasons I have not dropped out of my postgrad course as he has been so encouraging and kind when I was at some of my lowest points, so there are some real gems here but I, unfortunately, cannot say this for all staff members For psychology areas of study, the buildings need a bit of work to put it lightly. For my postgrad, the building looked beautiful! Campus facilities, I hardly used them as I got most of my sources etc online but loved going to the library to work when I really needed to concentrate The administrative staff were also hit and miss, especially when I was getting accepted onto my postgrad course and I was looking at other offers, it took a lot of chasing up with them to get what I needed. " Great university. The department of Education is especially helpful and are always there to support you. The best thing about the University for me was the Fallowfield campus and the social scene as it is incredibly fun. "

" From the limited experience I have had of the University of Manchester so far, I have found the experience to be good. Particularly the support from the academic staff has been better in comparison to be my undergraduate university. "

" A very good campus. However, parking and access to cars is very limited. There's good security, wifi, work spaces, teachers and many more positives to Manchester outisde of the uni. The city tends to be very cheap in comparison to the south of england and London, which makes living of £40 or so quite easy "

" The School Administration was always responsive and empathetic towards issues students deal with. The quality of teaching has been consistently good for the most part, and the range of choices for modules is incredible. University sites such as the main library or the ali g studying commons are life savers, and very well equipped. "
