Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is a public university located in the UK city of Nottingham. The university dates back to 1843 when it opened as the Nottingham Government School of Design. It became a polytechnic in 1970, and was granted university status in 1992. It's currently one of the highest ranked UK Universities on the site.

With the motto ‘shaping futures’, NTU offers over 500 different degree programmes to around 27,000 students across three campuses (City, Clifton and Brackenhurst), overseen by nine different academic schools. A £350 million investment in recent years has led to significant developments in NTU’s estate, including the regeneration of two Grade II* listed buildings, Newton and Arkwright, which include a glazed centre court with walk-round balcony, cafes, deli-bars and student services.  " Great university, definitely recommend getting yourself into a society. There's a Spoons pretty much on campus (City) which was great. Amazing lecturers, some workshop staff are a bit questionable but overall, I will 100% miss it after I graduate. "

 " NTU is a great university with a large array of facilities and highly motivated and enthusiastic staff. The freshers week is amazing and the organisation of it was amazing. It was a great start to university life and when getting into academic work, support has always been around the corner. "

 " Great university. However, I was disappointed at times with how certain student concerns were handled and the level of support provided. Other than that, I have had a good experience overall. The academic staff for my course (Fashion Management) are very supportive and I feel I can talk to them about issues. Great social life and Nottingham is a great city for students. "

 " I moved here after completing my first year at another university and I'm so glad I moved. NTU is a much better fit for me. The lecturers are better and helpful and the material is more interesting. Everything is easy to access online. And Nottingham is one of the best student cities in the UK! "
