" HR teaching team are amazing, Psychology team have a very different way of working so it can be hard to float between the two! Parking is horrendous, more car parks are definitely needed. You can get the park and ride/uni bus but as someone who is more comfortable having their car with them, I had to go into uni at 8am everyday just to get a parking space, its also £85 for a season ticket! " Portsmouth is a great university where you get the best of city and coastal life. Great nightlife and bonus that you can walk pretty much everywhere in 30 mins. Frequent free uni bus which does get full towards the last stops at popular times so can be quicker to walk. "

" The staff went above and beyond. They were knowledgeable, passionate, and understanding. However the facilities were often lacking, such as limited room for sports and clubs and a lack of specialised communal student areas, such as there being no student union bar and very limited space in the library, both for traditional studying and at computer terminals. " I have enjoyed my time at university. Teaching has always been delivered in a professional manner. Friendly staff and good support services available. Access to a wide range of resources. I am satisfied with my choice to study at this university. "

" A good multicultural uni with good staff and facilities. Studying here is not difficult and if you are putting in the effort, it is relatively easy to get good grades. People who have to repeat years/courses really have only themselves to blame. This lack of challenge means that in practice you don't learn a lot. The social life is great and in spring/summer you get the benefits of the seaside. The cost of living is also superb- most things are within walking distance, therefore I haven't used public transport at all. There is a balance of places to work/cost of rent and the uni provides a free bus for people living a bit further. The current gym is quite bad, but they are opening a new one next year. "
