" I studied at the University of Sussex for my Masters. Overall, I enjoyed my time here, the atmosphere is relaxing and inclusive on campus (as well as good facilities) and the majority of lecturers in my department were passionate and engaging. Student support could be better for postgraduates. "

" If you're thinking about studying psychology, I highly recommend considering the University of Sussex. The School of Psychology has some of the best, most qualified staff I've come across, they're knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely passionate about what they teach. "

" Overall the uni is good to study at. Lecturers care about their subjects and are always willing to help (don't be afraid to email and ask for help if you need it). The facilities are good, the food is really good on campus and the social scene is great! However, the uni has internal problems regarding timetabling and assessment timetables with everything being very close together. "

" Such a good university for Psychology! All staff are very friendly and willing to help. The student support centre is also helpful if you're struggling with work or any personal issues which affect your studies. The student's union is also improving following recommendations from current students. "

" I wouldn’t recommend Sussex for Psychology as they take on far too many students (over 500 per year group) to be able to give support. They also don’t take poor mental health seriously, even with doctor’s notes. My friends who are completing other degree subjects with less than 100 people have had a much better experience in terms of quality of teaching and support from their advisors. The cost of living is extortionate and it is difficult to get a job. Until third year, I haven’t had any professors show any kind of interest in what they teach us or any kind of support. I never heard from my academic advisor and I never heard back from anyone when I did reach out. "
