" I’ve loved my time here. Brighton is a great city to go to uni in, lots of things to do, nice friendly community. Sussex uni has been supportive when needed and I’ve had some really interesting lecturers throughout my time here "

" The English Language and Linguistics course is blessed with a lovely, small staffing unit. The teaching is very personable and there is a lot of support, but can be disorganised depending on the lecturer. I would recommend the course a lot.
Being so close to Brighton is great, and with access to the South Downs, Sussex is well situated. It's good that everything is based on one large campus (including first year accommodation). The Library could be better, and overall I am unimpressed with the ethos of the university. The SU and the Vice Chancellor are very much at odds. "

" Overall I am happy with the experience I had at Sussex. Right from the open day I had the feeling I got was positive, and that never went away. Brighton itself is a very inclusive city, and I that aura spread onto the Campus, making it a very comfortable place to be when working or socialising. In terms of the services on offer, I wouldn't say they were better or worse than any other University, but nonetheless I never had any complaints to make about anything on offer. The only trouble I suppose is access for car parking which was a bit of a nightmare really, there simply aren't enough places for the amount of people on campus. The wifi was sometimes quite poor as well. But other than that I would highly recommend Sussex as a University as it provides a great experience for anyone of all types! "

" This university has many great aspects, such as an amazing campus, good research facilities and labs, a good outlook about issues such as LGBTQ+ , and so on. However, as many other universities, there are also issues. The quality of teaching and the motivation of staff to do their job efficiently varies from class to class, and also the support the university has offered students in this time has been poor at times. " The University of Sussex has a great Campus which is close to the city as well as to nature and therefore caters to all needs.
The campus is generally clean and feels safe.
There are a variety of Accommodation, food, society and sport offers available although participating in some of them is a bit more complicated then it needs to be.
My lecturers were very relaxed, friendly and helpful. But it should be mentioned that the course is part of the Engineering and Informatics School but often feels like an afterthought in regards to information, events and room. "
