" Overall, it's a great university. The Paisley campus places a stronger focus on social engagement, while the newer campuses in Lanarkshire and Paisley offer better facilities, faster internet, and more up-to-date technology. "

" This university is a great choice for mature students. They offer excellent support to help balance personal responsibilities and academic life, which is especially important for those of us who are in our 30s. It's a welcoming environment for anyone returning to education later in life. "

" The University of the West of Scotland offers solid courses, and the academic staff are generally well-qualified and skilled. The IT team is also very supportive and helpful. The student body is diverse, and I built strong relationships with classmates. Sharing ideas and experiences with others was a valuable part of the learning process. Throughout the course, I gained knowledge from a wide range of literature and developed key conceptual skills, particularly in analytical and critical thinking. I learned to connect different aspects of a problem to generate new insights. I also gained practical research skills, from collecting empirical data using quantitative methods to analysing results, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations. Overall, I'm happy with the course and the experience. "

" The university experienced a cyber attack that caused major disruptions. I lost important data, had to repeat a module four times, and my dissertation was delayed. So instead of graduating in July, I'll now graduate in November. Aside from that, things are generally okay. The staff are fine, the food is decent, and I haven't really explored the societies. Overall, it's an all right university, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone aiming for a top-tier academic experience like Oxford. "

" My experience hasn't been much to shout about. Loads of staffing changes. Online learning was more or less teaching myself with little support. It has been tough and I would definitely recommend in person teaching for this reason. I can't comment on social scene or campus facilities really. However, the time I did visit it was like a maze and rather confusing to navigate around, and particularly difficult for myself with a mobility issue. "
