 " I studied my undergraduate degree at York St John’s university and continued to study my MSc product design degree due to the tuition fee support given by the university for continuing students. With a first class honours you get 50% off postgraduate courses, with a 2-1 you get 35% so that’s worth considering if your planning on studying to a Masters degree level. "

 " Great experience overall, glad I chose this university! The psychology department off lots of professional experience opportunities eg placements, research assistant positions etc and the staff are all very helpful and supportive "

 " Really great university, I can’t fault the teachers even though the pandemic threatened to have a massive impact on ours studies. The parking isn’t great but it is a city centre Uni so most people won’t be commuting like me. "

 " My time at YSJ university was truly the best 3 years of my life. It is smaller than the average UK Uni, but don't let this put you off. It is always said amongst students that you can't walk from one end of the campus to another without bumping into a familiar face, and that is very true! Being a YSJ student feels like being in a family. 

The campus is a blend of traditional victorian buildings on the Quad to more modern and updated areas such as Temple Hall or DeGrey court. There are so many societies to choose from! The location of YSJ is also ideal as its situated within the city centre. 

There are many club nights specifically for YSJ students which were my personal highlight of my time there. 

Lecturers were always very quick in responding to emails/queries, I never felt ignored in my time there. "

 " Postgraduate during covid has potential swayed my decision and justified reasons for a low mark however I feel like staff, facilities and learning quality has been extremely poor and very basic. No new things have been learnt over this postgrad just additional added pressure to submit assignments and attention live seminar for attendance purposes with inevitable technical difficulties. Not worth the money invested but was better than the alternative so it works for me "
