" I have loved studying at Bangor University because of the surrounding area being so beautiful - I love exploring Snowdonia National Park bay paddle boarding, climbing, hiking etc. The university is full of great tutors who take time out of their day to help. "

" Bangor has been great and all assignments have been marked quickly and returned with feedback. Lecturers have been very helpful and understanding in order to push myself to do the best work I can. Facilities are fantastic. "

" The staff here are exceptional in both the pastoral care and academic support they provide, if you study at Bangor you will most likely be on your to self-actualization and transendance :). My entire academic career has been at Bangor and for good reason (undergraduate - PhD), firstly, the environment around Bangor and in the national park is incredible (e.g., opportunities to engage in many outdoor activities). Secondly, I have had many research and teaching opportunities throughout my studies which have put me in a strong position to pursue a career in research. Strongly consider studying at Bangor. "

" I had a wonderful experience at Bangor University. I felt very supported by both academic staff and pastoral staff. I found staff to be very responsive and helpful both with extenuating circumstances and in response to queries. It is by no means an easy course and the second year was easily the hardest due to completing all BPS accreditation modules in one year equalling 5 modules a semester with both essays and examinations. The work however is extremely interesting and they really prepare you for both graduate work or post graduate studying. In terms of clubs, that was the highlight of my university life. i joined two clubs that ran my extra time dry but all by choice. It was the best way for me to make friends and engage in social life that i would normally shy away from. I think the academics could've consumed me if it wasn't for those 2 hour sessions every other day that made me get up, do some exercise and engage with people. I did it throughout my 3 years and still came out with a first class degree. Best experience ever, amazing university, really care about their students, and cheap to live! "

" I've been at Bangor for 4 years now and it exceeded my expectations as I got to the university via clearing. One of the main things that needs improving however is the mental health support available to students. It does have help in place for these sort of issues however the waiting lists are long (for my friend it took 6 weeks to be seen) and a few weeks can make or brake a students overall grade. "
