" A great and underrated University. Good atmosphere and working environment with really good staff and facilities. Easy connections to other big cities. A lot of beautiful outdoor things to do around the city. Within Bangor city itself, there's not too much non-University activities beyond the outdoors though compared to places like Chester. "

" I have loved studying at Bangor University because of the surrounding area being so beautiful - I love exploring Snowdonia National Park bay paddle boarding, climbing, hiking etc. The university is full of great tutors who take time out of their day to help. "

" Bangor has been great and all assignments have been marked quickly and returned with feedback. Lecturers have been very helpful and understanding in order to push myself to do the best work I can. Facilities are fantastic. "

" The staff here are exceptional in both the pastoral care and academic support they provide, if you study at Bangor you will most likely be on your to self-actualization and transendance :). My entire academic career has been at Bangor and for good reason (undergraduate - PhD), firstly, the environment around Bangor and in the national park is incredible (e.g., opportunities to engage in many outdoor activities). Secondly, I have had many research and teaching opportunities throughout my studies which have put me in a strong position to pursue a career in research. Strongly consider studying at Bangor. "
