" I enjoyed my time spent at CSULB. The professors were helpful and accommodating, the food was great (I love El Pollo Loco), and the gym was very accessible (right next to the parking structure). The upper quad feels welcoming, and the grass is lovely to nap on between classes. Most students I knew were commuters, so I was unaware of any social scene, though I didn't try very hard to find one. "

" I really enjoyed CSULB. The environment is very inviting and diverse allowing for a variety of experiences. The only thing is parking can be rough and walking to classes is sometimes far and uphill. Overall, it is a beautiful campus and I highly recommend it. Just wish it had a football team! "

" I enjoyed my time at CSULB. Sometimes I had difficulty figuring out which classes to take in which order so it is helpful to consult with an academic advisor before registering. The campus is uphill so it can be hard of there are classes on different sides of campus. Some buildings don't have AC so that also sucks sometimes. Some professors were much harder than others. "

" Having been reduced to online for the majority of my time attending surely factors into my overall sentiment towards the institution. That said I can say that in my limited time in person I quite enjoyed the university and location, although some professor leave much to be desired. "

" Although the campus was long and had a lot of half-step stairs, it felt really roomy and had good weather from being near the beach. Take into account walking time since I would have to walk from one end of campus all the way to the other side everyday for class. There are a variety of foods and restaurants near campus. The REC center is very modern and has a lot of amenities. I mostly had early morning classes so I did not deal with the parking issues as often but I do hear it from other students. Some buildings are somewhat old but when I was graduating they started remodeling/adding new ones! "
