" Beautiful campus with mountains in the background. Parking is limited, but public transportation is easy to take. This will be a better option for most students rather than driving in and parking as part of their commute. Most professors are great and very conscious of stresses related to being a student. "

" The MSOL has some great faculty members in it, but overall I would not recommend this program. A number of faculty members are not at all engaged and lack the experience with online programs, and the program seems to do nothing to manage these faculty members and improve these courses. Faculty posting photos of multiple choice quizzes where you have to 'tick' a box (how, online??), faculty that NEVER participates on the discussion board or posts generic responses (try hiding a question for them in a post!), faculty that just auto-grades textbook quizzes with no feedback or interaction, faculty that is not qualified to supervise research projects (without knowing anything about IRB and without having IRB certification from the university), it's a joke. Some classes are only about 10 hours of work to do an entire semester worth of work; the standards are low and the work is more freshman undergrad level than graduate level. You can easily ace every class with virtually no effort. If not for an occasional fantastic faculty member, I would have considered this degree a waste of my time and money. "

" You can get the same degree with a cheaper option that doesn't screw you over as much. There are many bs fees included in the tuition. I also had several negative experiences with my department in which I was ignored and injured. "

" Overall the college has a warm atmosphere, there are many resources available for aids or concerns. CU Boulder has a variety of programs from science to humanities and builds communities well. But the school sometimes do not handle contingencies very well. "

" The campus is really pretty, helpful staff, most professors are okay but some have been difficult to work with. Boulder itself is really fun, good transport, biking friendly, good food, easy transportation, gorgeous mountains, great recreational opportunities nearby "
