" Attending global campus online. Would recommend doing research into which area of study and which campus you attend. Professors in my area of study are very helpful however for some general education classes it was difficult to find those that were understanding. I am a veteran student and those professors that understood the military and other life challenges while doing something else full time are very important. "

" Overall a great experience but definitely lacking supporting students financially. I would not suggest living on campus if you live within 30 min of the campus because prices around the area and on campus are way to high "

" My cohort and professors are extremely friendly and supportive - great climate for graduate students. However, not much financial options are available so you'd need to be a Graduate/Research/Teaching Assistant to earn tuition remission. That could be extremely painful depends on your luck and positions. In my case, while my co-workers are amazing, we are short-staffed and I had to take up so much work. Extremely demanding to work the entire 20 hours a week while being a full-time student. "

" It's a good university, although social life is hard. There are a lot of people in the university to meet, but it can have a lot of cliques. For most people, it works to be in a club, which there are a lot of in the uvniversity. "

" The University of Maryland is a great school to attend. There are great academics and the campus is beautiful. The staff cares about the students and there are plenty of resources for students who may need to access extra help academically. "
