" Significant lack of underrepresented minorities within both faculty and the student body as well as a large number of international students. The majority of campus lines a major road, with very little open-outdoor spaces and no "quad" like most universities have. I would recommend BU to anyone who truly enjoys an Urban environment and doesn't mind feeling anonymous at times. "

" I like my time at BU. I made a lot of friends and was part of a lot of clubs that made my time at BU memorable. The dorms here are also super nice and the college campus made me feel like I was living in the city. "

" Overall good school, had a good time here during undergrad. Good enough that I decided to pursue my Master's degree here without a doubt. Courses can definitely be challenging, but I believe that there are solid resources the school has to offer and the faculty have such rich and diverse backgrounds. "

" This school checks the boxes - urban area with good transportation that isn't TOO overwhelming if you come from a rural area. Strong programs if you know what you want but huge variety in case you want to switch majors. You can be as involved as you want or as checked out as you feel. School spirit isn't obnoxious like some schools. You can get involved with the school or be more of city yuppie. Every choice you'd like. It provided an excellent international experience - full of diverse thinkers, creators and action oriented students. The professors were interesting and engaging . "

" Love the campus, love the teachers, lots of opportunities for research and trying new things. Joining a club/sport/etc. is important for making friends because the school is very large and you may have class with someone every day one semester and never see them again after that. "
