" Good school with really good resources, university dumps a large amount of money into athletics though. Corvallis is a great college town with enough things to do outside of the university, the town is very slow when school is not in session though. Theres a lot of outdoorsy things to do in the area. "

" The BACORE classes are dumb and so are most the teachers for the way they grade things/work expected can be a bit much. Major specific classes a usually great! Food options are fine if you're living on campus, pricey though even with the meal plan. Off-campus there isn't too much food but a great variety. The cafe's are my favorite. The campus is great, everything is within walking or biking distance. OSU offers a ton of student support services ... none of which I actually use but that takes out of my tuition anyways. Admin staff can be a pain in the butt for documents and communication (Kerr admin building). Dixon Rec Center is amazing BUT usually overcrowded past 3pm until close. (if we had equipment that the athletes had we wouldn't have any space issues but the university prioritizes athletes over students) Best advice: get involved with some clubs because that is where like-minded people will be and it looks great on a resume. " Great university, however way too expensive. Also the lead professor of the TRAL program endangered students in an outdoor setting and was subsequently fired. There are no sports facilities on Cascades campus, and the social scene is comprised of very young kids, which is great if you are straight out of high school. "

" My apologies, most of these questions pertained to on campus features; I am on online student and have never seen the campus. My experience is strictly through the ECampus online program. That program has generally been great. There is a very wide range of classes to choose from and the processor have been almost uniformly excellent. Keep in mind that as an online student, most of your exams will be proctored which requires giving the school remote access to your computer. "

" I just graduated from OSU and I loved my time there. I would bike to campus before everything went remote and it was great, it's a very biker-friendly campus. There were a few problems though. The health services on campus were not marketed well so not everyone knew that they had access to those services. The professors are okay but you can tell when a professor doesn't actually care about whether or not they teach their subject well. I really love the DCA/NMC department at OSU and I'll definitely be keeping in touch with my professors there. "
