" The University of Alabama is a wonderful institution to pursue a graduate degree. I had the opportunity to have a graduate assistantship which not only covered my cost of attendance, but gave me practical, real-world experience that helped me land my first job. "

" It is a very large school, but it didn’t feel too large in my department and it was easy to interact with other students while I was taking classes. As a non-traditional student who doesn’t live near campus, it was more difficult to feel part of the community when I didn’t have daily classes on campus anymore. However, there are plenty of opportunities for graduate to get involved and stay connected if one seeks them out. "

" Love it! I've had a great experience. All of my professors have been extremely helpful, my experience in class has been more than helpful in preparing me for a future job, and outside of school I have multiple social options. "

" I attended the University of Alabama for my undergraduate degree and lived on campus for half of it. The campus can get rather rowdy during football game days/weeks, especially if there's a big game going on. I'm not into football so I did feel a bit unwelcome during those times. There's a significant number of clubs and such for just about anyone, but it is in the state of Alabama, so inclusivity and diversity were somewhat lacking. "
