" Most of the professors are very helpful and want to see their students pass. Great school of want to get involved in Arctic research or psychology. Do not recommend if you want an active campus life, but the people are very friendly. "

" I always hear complaints of parking spaces on campus. However, I know UAA has a good reputation and it’s a good university if you want to experience Alaska (especially if you like winter sports since winters are long). "

" Really a hit or miss, but does the job just fine. People are typically very nice and helpful, but you have outliers like everywhere else. Dorm situation is 5/10, but again it does the job. I would say the best thing about this school is the culture and high quality facilities. The library is has an incredible selection o material and some cool stuff on display. Gym is also really cool. I myself spend a lot of time in the engineering building and we have some pretty cool stuff. "
