 " The campus is quite beautiful in general and such a nice environment to be in. Sadly parking isn't all too well and some of the professors tend to make students work on their own instead of actually teaching them. A little bit unpredictable with their Visual Communications classes recently as well which is very stressful when you need to take a capstone class but they keep cancelling them and switching them around which makes you have to re-do your schedule, but who knows maybe that's just the VC classes.  " Pretty good school, I had no problems with it. I enjoyed this university a lot. I met my friends and my wife here, so I would think it was a pretty good experience overall. I liked the Honors dorm most of all. "

 " The campus is beautiful, but the school itself is terribly organized. NAU is a good school for some very specific programs, but for more general studies areas go somewhere else. I ended up transferring out after 2.5 years. Mental health support for students is severely lacking; when I went there, the wait list to see counselling services was over 200 students long. They did have a psychiatrist at health services, however the psychiatrist ended up misdiagnosing me and put me on meds for a condition I did not have. Also, little to no mental health support for classroom accessibility purposes. Housing on campus was limited in availability, and you had to plan housing sometimes a year in advance both on and off campus. "

 " Good classes in a great place. Advisors are hard to get ahold of so you’re kinda on your own. Lots of resources available for many things. LOTS of outdoorsy clubs and activities. Smaller class sizes (my covid semester micro bio lab has 4 students in it, and my non covid bio lab had about 20) "

 " This university has a distinct lack of diversity as well as the city of Flagstaff in general. African American students in particular with have zero availability of friend groups and will find themselves acting as a the spokesperson for all Black people on campus. "
