" Pretty good school. The professors were incredible but the students were sometimes arrogant. I also think the school is located in a great area as far as nice weather and around good food places. However it can definitely be challenging if you don't have a car "

" Chapman is a tight-knit community with small class sizes and lots of extracurriculars. I have loved most of my professors and believe the small class sizes allow for personal relations with professors, faculty, and classmates. Specifically regarding the psychology department, there are so many class options to pursue different topics within the field, which helped me find my areas of interest. "

" Full Honest Disclosure: Chapman is a predominantly white institution where a majority of the students are from a wealthy family. The student population is a majority left leaning but there is an unfortunate vocal population of Trump supporters :( . The administration as in president, dean, and other certain higher ups are very right leaning and make it known. They do not listen to to what the majority student population wants and rarely acts appropriately under instances of bigotry which is very frustrating and embarrassing. However, everyone in the registrar, business, and financial aid offices are beyond helpful and kind.
Students are very social, there are a ton of clubs to join as well as Greek life, and lots of partying. But it is a work hard, play hard environment. You do not need to be in a sorority to have fun, but most guys will not get into parties unless they are in a frat or are very close with someone who is and has significant pull. The Greek life is satellite housing so all the “frat” homes are off campus and student owned.
They have some very excellent and accomplished teachers, but like any school some are complete trash. Use ratemyprofessor. There is also a great opportunity for networking amongst fellow students here due to who their parents are and because of the guest speakers in many of the classes.
Chapman is known for, and has a very competitive and accomplished film school. There are lots of cool events we get to attend because of this, often for free!
Finally being so close to LA allows for a great opportunity to get really good internships! "

" Great school for white people who want to join fraternities/sororities, but for the minority fxlk out there it is a bit lacking. Also, there are cheaper options for a degree so unless you are wealthy or received a hefty scholarship, I don't recommend it. I personally wish I had gone to a public university instead, even with my scholarship. "
