" I had a meandering college experience with my school and degree, but overall I would recommend the school as part of the consortium it was in. I switched majors several times, and would not have been able to do this if I were only allowed the resources at my school, but because it is part of a group of several schools that allows cross-registration, each specializing in different areas (CMC - Gov/Finance, Pomona - Lib Arts, Scripps - Art/Women's school, Pitzer - Social Activism, Harvey Mudd - Engineering), I was able to take all of the classes I needed to at high quality, even though they were not provided by my school. Years later the degree is still useful to have despite it being in an unrelated subject (was an Art major, ended up in software engineering), but the network was super helpful in my current industry when I used it to alumni through LinkedIn almost a decade later. " Claremont McKenna College is an amazing college. It has the advantages of a small school (small class sizes and individualized resources) as well as a large school (7 dining halls available and the third largest private library in California). The students, faculty, and staff are incredible. "
