 " Although the food sucks, I would still recommend this school! I love my major and the community. There are hundreds of clubs and the variety of classes available is wonderful. Most of the professors I've had are engaging and empowering. "

 " Great school. Kind of in the middle of nowhere, BUT you're right between Los Angeles and the Bay Area. Flip a coin and Ryde ;) Cool people, there are crowds for everyone. Great off-campus housing opportunities are available for students with all sorts of budgets. Lots of job opportunities and ways to connect to your industry of choice. "

 " Very nice location and great weather year round. Great safety and great campus social environment. The food options are not adequate for lots of students, however. I wish sports were bigger here and that Greek Life had a bigger scene. "

 " Parking was expensive. All in all, cal poly provided a great learning environment. I loved the learn by doing teaching philosophy because it gives me more confidence going into the workplace. I felt supported by many of my professors and loved the food science program. "

 " It's a great school for nature lovers. There's hiking trails and a rock climbing wall. A lot of people like playing this game called cornhole. The food is pretty gross. The cafeterias are cute but the food could be better. The staff are very welcoming. There are things like WoW Week that help to break the ice between you and the school. You become more acquainted with the area and with the people you're around. There are a lot of computers but they easily fill up. most of them are housed in the library. There are so many clubs, my personal favorite was movie club. "
