 " Really great school- hands on learning. I’ve learned so much and have used the materials to apply to real situations. This school preps you for a career in your field and emphasizes entrepreneurship. The class availability is flexible and lots of options. The campus is beautiful and there’s lots to do. "

 " I wouldn't say I love my school, but it's good overall. The campus is nice, and the other students are great. I'm not a big fan of the faculty and staff, though. The food options are really good, but I don't use a lot of the on-campus facilities that much. "

 " I’ve only been on campus for one semester, the previous year was online. Some of my teachers are willing to make accommodations for those who don’t want to attend on campus yet by still using zoom.
Most my teachers have been great with lectures that keep you engaged. I only had one teacher here who seemed unqualified for online learning but it wasn’t in my field of study. 
I’ve heard that this school's engineering program is considered one of the best in California, probably based on the schools way of teaching. "

 " Cal Poly Pomona is not traditionally thought of as a top school for finance majors, but the program has been rapidly accelerating in the past years. My time in the Student Managed Investment Fund has been the single greatest learning experience I have had in my life and has made my considerably more attractive in job/internship applications. Consider attending if you have an interest/passion for finance! "

 " Great Sociology Department. They have a peer Mentor program which assist students achieve success and socially integrate on campus. The school overall is very nice and offers many opportunities for engagement. I recommend student parents to look into the children’s center where they offer childcare services on a qualification basis. There are many support and resource services on campus as well. There is a Research problem available for all student majors to apply called Project Hatchery. "
