" This is a very small commuter campus. It is not a party school. The class sizes are small enough that you'll actually get 1 on 1 time with your professor which is great. Parking can be a little of a hassle but that's on every campus. You're in the middle of fields and mountains and you're also near the beach. Always be prepared for a fire during fire season. The campus is really clean and safe. "

" Beautiful campus, with great teachers and students, but could be better in terms of the social scene and sports. No NCAA sports, no pool, no football, etc. There were lots of opportunities due to the small school size which was great, but you have to put yourself out there to do it. There are some cool clubs like the sailing club, surf club, etc. The school was rough when it came to financial aid and some of the administrative sides of things. "

" CSUCI isn't a party school, it truly is a school for people serious about getting their degrees. It's a beautiful campus, and I like most of my professors. The ESRM program has been revamped and is very good, the Capstone program takes a keen interest in preparing students to enter the job market with marketable skills in Environmental Science. My biggest complaint is parking is too limited, and very far from classes. It's also pretty expensive. "

" Overall a very solid choice for those interested in psychology or social services. The staff is very supportive and the resources that are available to students always seem to make time for you. The Writing Center has done its best to accommodate the new learning environment. "

" I have enjoyed my time here so far, but it is definitely a commuter school. The classes and opportunities to succeed here have been good, but it is not always the easiest to make connections with fellow classmates. "
