" Underappreciated Commuter school. Cal State Dominguez Hills is a state university in California that offers its students ample support and opportunities in the form of student involvement, activities, and resources. The campus is modern as they have just recently remodeled many of the older facilities. Not the largest campus, but that could also be a benefit depending on the person. "

" I decided to attend CSUDH since it's closer to home. Majority of the students at the campus are commuter students so parking can be difficult. The professors are great, and there are so many new courses being added especially in the Ethnic Studies department. Since COVID, the staff has really made sure that the safety of students and staff comes first. And while switching to virtual instruction was a struggle, my professors really made an effort to make sure the students were keeping up with the work. I entered CSUDH as a transfer student so I didnt get to experience much of the campus life however, there are so many organizations, clubs, and resources available for everyone. "

" Due to the pandemic I haven't had a chance to be on the campus but my time with the classes and teacher have been very good, except for financial aid services. They have been very difficult to deal with and would occasionally make mistakes. I understand that they are having difficulties with quarantine so I hope it's not like that all the time. "

" Generally good school for the cost of tuition. Professors are where the school really shines, which is the most important aspect for me personally. Staff is very friendly and campus is generally easy to navigate. Dorming is not that affordable depending on the housing unit of your choice, which is unfortunate and I feel it could be improved upon. Some of the buildings on campus are in need of immediate repair, as some of them are dilapidated and can be a risk to student safety. "

" Great school with a friendly environment. The small classroom sizes are great for more one-on-one time with teachers. The campus looks beautiful and I enjoyed grabbing a bite to eat before my classes. "
