" I am a transfer student from a community college and haven't been on campus because of COVID. Online classes are okay. Teachers are nice, but the quality of education is average. School is affordable for a university and has a diverse student body. "

" East Bay is a good commuter school. Tuition is decently priced. Only thing I wish they had more understanding on is parking and bc of covid hybrid classes it would’ve been nice if they could cut cost for parking (if not both tuition) "

" Nice and clean campus. The Faculty and staff were nice and helpful. However, the university lacked a lot of services and resources for career advancement, job search, internships etc. Lack of school representation and presence for students to be involved and lack of pride being from this school. "

" CSU EB is the definition of a commuter school. It's in a quiet part of the SF Bay Area known as Hayward with a shuttle service connecting it to BART. It doesn't have a social scene at all so if that's what you want you would have to go Oakland to find that or just attend a different university. I'm not a party person so this was perfect for me. It has a great gym, and speaking of working out, the campus' multi-plateau layout will keep you in good shape even if you don't go to the gym because you will be going up and down steps constantly. The staff is helpful. The wi-fi is great. The only negative is the food. There are no good options in or around campus, so you'll probably be going down the hill to the town a lot when ever you want to eat a good meal. "
