 " Strong science professors with quality courses that prepare you to transfer. Overall, it has been a great way for me to get to university since I wasn't able to apply to my desired program at University as a mature student with previous college experience. I received lots of support here and built relationships with professors that helped me achieve my goal of transferring to my desired university and into my desired program. "

 " I think this is a great school. Unfortunately some teachers aren't so tech savvy, so it is good to be aware of that, whether it was lost papers or overall last communication. If you are getting started out maybe you've been out of high school for a few years or maybe you want to raise your GPA Santa Monica College is a great place to go to. Some of my best years, and my best teachers were at Santa Monica College. On the most part they really want to help you succeed and get an A and I think that those are very important qualities "

 " It's a really good school overall, but you do have to seek out the counselors who genuinely care, it can be difficult, but I was lucky to find the support I needed. EOPS was a big help for me. Like most places, some teachers were great and others not so much. Still, I enjoyed my time there, especially because I got to meet some great people. "

 " I love Santa Monica College! Great location and amazing professors. They really are about student success here. Some of the buildings on the main campus are outdated my statistics class had a chalkboard. "

 " I think this college is great. Very supportive of students, most of the professors are excellent, and online learning this pandemic was very manageable. I have learned a lot and would recommend SMC to anyone. "
