" Best food in the entire country. If you were on the fence about any options, I just want you to know that UCLA offers steak, grilled salmon, poke bowls, roasted lamb, and everything else you could dream of. This was the decision-maker for me and I highly recommend UCLA for its food. "

" Great school but over crowded. Come here with the expectations that you will be in large classrooms and depending on your major, it may be ultra competitive. Remember to take the time to rest as your degree is a marathon, not a sprint. The best thing you can do is be proactive in trying to stand out for LOR's and it isn't as hard to connect with professors or TA's as it seems. Be confident. You're a student at one of the world's most prestigious universities. You have what it takes to make it. "

" ucla is my favorite place on earth, i couldn't have picked a better school. i have made friends for life, found an area of study that i am passionate about & have had life experiences that not only make me a better person going forward, but also contribute to my appreciation of life on a day to day basis. not only is ucla's campus probably the most beautiful place you could ever be, but being able to explore LA made my time at ucla so exciting & enriching. " I had a good experience at UCLA. The dining halls are the best and the campus is pretty. There are a lot of events always happening and sometimes it can be overwhelming. A lot of opportunities to explore. "

" I wish the rent around the area was cheaper, which would have probably made my experience better since I struggled financially most of my time there. Overall, I was challenged by the intelligent students around me, which I definitely cherished as part of my experience. The professors are very helpful and I attended office hours on multiple occasions. Professors really push you to think deeper and my analysis and reading skills have improved since entering college. There are also over a thousand clubs that you can join, and I am currently in a sorority which made my college experience even more worthwhile. I was also able to connect with those in my major since I ended up taking the same classes as many of them throughout my four years. "
