" If I could do it over again, I think I would be more involved in the campus activities. Like, join student government, and try out as many clubs as you can and find out what fits you. I think what you put in is what you get out of it. So networking early is really essential to making it in any industry. Academics is important, but also, don’t forget to put yourself out there. "

" Quarter system is fast paced having limited time for various assignments at once. Balancing and organization is key to staying on top of course material, social life, personal life, and work. The Urban Studies and Planning Department is not very rigorous compared to other popular majors and can range from creative courses to more technical courses. "

" Great school for those looking to study excessively and dive deep into their specific area of interest. If you're coming for the social scene you came to the wrong place. You also have to be very particular about the specific college you choose. Being in Revelle, we have the hardest GE's and some of the worst dormitories. For sixth college, however. they have brand new dorms, easier GE's, and a broader area for social exposure. You should look into each specific college and choose the best for you. "

" Great location but didn’t have the best schooling experience there. They don’t provide students with good resources to land a job post grad. Also parking is terrible and even if you pay for a parking pass you aren’t guaranteed a spot. They keep building more colleges within the university that no one asked for. Feels kind of more like a business than an academic institution. "

" UCSD is a great school! There are unlimited opportunities available. They are heavily focused on experimental research and many courses/requirements reflect this. The professors are some of the best in the world. I can speak for the Psychology Honors Program, which is intense and rigorous, but provides you with the skillset necessary to be successful in running your own research from start to finish. "
