" It has been really nice so far. All of my professors so far have been really cool and not really on a power trip like some professors I've heard about in other campuses. The campus is also clean and has really nice facilities. The nice thing is how much there was to do on and around campus with my friends. The curriculum is challenging but the professors and my peers make it pretty rewarding. It was also easy to find a group of friends that are helping make it easier to make it through my classes. "

" Great school in a great location. The downside is that is has a reputation for being a party school. However, the academics are rigorous and it's very competitive to move from being a pre-major to a major in your actual field of study. "

" UCSB is made infinitely better by the Isla Vista community and lifestyle. Even when our administration lets us down you can always rely on the community to have fun, support one another, and fight for what we believe in. I could never imagine going anywhere else even if online school is a joke. "

" I believe UC Santa Barbara is one of the best UC's. It is all-around a great school, both socially and academically. The campus is old, however, and can use some updating. The view of the ocean from campus is stunning. The majors and class subjects were quite broad/general. "

" Didn't really fit in too well at this school--it's very social but mostly through the party scene, so if you're not into that it can be hard to meet people. I love my major, biopsychology, and have had some great professors and done some amazing research in this field. I'm a Spanish minor, however, and most Spanish classes have been relatively poor. Obviously it's a beautiful campus and there are some great profs there, but I wish I had thought more about the culture there before attending. "
