" Foothill is a great community college. The faculty care a lot about the success of their students. Most classes are analogous in difficulty to 4-year college courses. Many students have successfully transferred from Foothill to 4-year colleges both in-state and out-of-state. I've actually enjoyed my professors at Foothill better than many/most of the professors at the 4-year university I attended. "

" Foothilll has a great selection of online classes that are often only available in much more expensive 4yr universities. However, most online classes are asynchronous with little or no video lectures (especially accounting classes), which can make it difficult to understand the material or develop a sense of community or relationship with students. So if you are a busy professional, who is a good reader and has lots of other social support, this would be a good/cheap option for you to get the pre-reqs you need for your license or transfer. They have a wonderful Psychology and Social Sciences dept with fantastic teachers! This semester I am taking 2 in person psychology classes and both teachers are exceptional! Have not taken an online psychology course though so can’t comment to the efficacy of the online classes. Overall beautiful campus with plenty of parking and lots of green. Pricey neighborhood. If possible I recommend taking in person/hybrid classes and avoiding the purely online ones "

" It is a great community college. I spent two great years here. And I have transferred from Foothill College to UC Berkeley Fall 2020. The professors at Foothill Colleges have high certificate or educations. "
