" Not a bad experience overall, but much has changed since it switched to a Benefits Corporation. The academic staff was incredible when I was a full-time student, though much of the faculty has changed now. Regardless, I have always had great dissertation chairs. I knocked off one star for campus facilities since it is quite small compared to my undergraduate, though that may not be a fair basis for comparison. One star off for administrative staff due to consensus among a few students that it can be hard to work with SERC (the Student Evaluation and Review Committee) and I have not heard good things about the accessibility accommodation services. " Great academic staff in the area of psychology. The campus in San Diego is a good campus. The campus offers different student associations that are active and associations put on different social activities for students. "

" The professors need to be my prompt to helping students. They all practice in the field so teaching is not their priority. Do not expect professors to respond quickly. Overall, the university is APA accredited which is important. The drop campus is not the best or most helpful for students as it is basically just an office building. "

" The San Diego CSPP/Clinical Psychology doctoral program has equipped me with the knowledge to continue a respectable career as a clinical psychologist. I'm thrilled to be working with qualified and experienced faculty currently undergoing research and practice while maintaining their teaching positions. The campus itself is small and quaint, and the buildings are unfortunately old and needing some repairs, but maintenance has been keeping up with the demands. There is high turnover in certain administration, I myself have had a new student advisor every year that I have been attending. This has not been to a detriment with my progress however. The clubs are student organized, developed, and ran, which means if no one is interested in creating a club then there are limited opportunities to join one. Being in graduate school is demanding, so I have not been around much to see if there is a social scene but again because the campus is small with a rural feel I have not noticed many "hang out" spots to congregate or hold fun events at. There is a soccer field and basketball court, but no formal gymnasium or organized sports team I am aware of. It's hard to compare to my undergrad campus experience considering I am attending a professional school. Different vibe! "
