" The campus is pretty outdated. Parking is extremely hard to find and it takes months to get an appointment with a school counselor. Some professors are brilliant, passionate. Others are mediocre at best; hard Leftists at worst. But I have no regrets about attending City College and have enjoyed my time there overall. "

" I'm a first year and from what I've been told, if you are a transfer student and are applying to a prestigious or competitive college, you should take the honors program and take the classes that are needed to transfer. If you want to transfer within 2 years or in a timely manner, plan everything out with your counselor. (talk to them! they are a useful resource!) "

" I'm an online student at San Diego City College. If you need online or hybrid courses, this college offers plenty of choices, as do Mesa and Miramar (all in the San Diego Community College District). The majority of my classes have been conducted through Blackboard Learn, although many classes are now using Piazza. Most of my professors have been dedicated to helping their students succeed, although I've had my fair share of blasé professors. The Math Department offers an on-campus tutoring center and computer lab for students. They used to offer self-paced courses, which were pivotal in helping me reach my goals; unfortunately they stopped offering those. The counselors have been professional, helping me to decide on my major, and discussing my options with me. Currently, SD City does not offer .edu addresses for students, so if you need one you're out of luck. My overall experience with this school has been positive. "
