" Mines is a overall difficult school, but so far I've found that it has a strong community and the students support each other. The workload is intense and the food isn't great, but the faculties are great and the teachers for the most part seem to like their job and are good and engaging. I'm still a freshman, but from what I've found the social scene is definitely lacking (especially because of covid- I don't know how it would be in a normal year). "

" Mines is a very rigorous and difficult college to attend. It will certainly be stressful and a hard few years while you're there, however, you will learn a lot and be fairly prepared for the industry when you graduate. It also has an exceptional reputation and high job placement for graduates. "

" Mines is an outcome driven school. The classes are hard. You aren't catching the grading curve other schools are offering. You are getting a tough engineering education. The professors are there for research and don't care about the undergraduate experience, the quality of life isn't awesome but if you find your community and graduate, you will find yourself prepared to work hard and have a successful career.
