" Great school if you're into small town vibes. Very outdoorsy school, they highly promote going outside and being active, such as offering discounted skiing passes among other things. Not a whole lot to do in town though, as you need to drive 2 hours just to eat at a chain restaurant or go see a movie or whatever. Pretty party-centered school, most people spend weekends hanging with friends and drinking. Freshman dorms kinda suck but the upperclassman living halls aren't that bad, but I recommend living off-campus once you can. This school can get pretty damn expensive too so that's something to keep in mind. On-campus facilities are great too. Most professors are awesome "

" I attended the Master's in Environmental Management Program at this university. They only within the last 6 years got accredited as a university so the grad programs are still in their infancy. The most kind way to describe this program is "earnest". It was only $17,000 a year to attend a two year accelerated program and I feel like I got what I paid for (which is to say pretty cheap). The most I got out of this program was the ability to network which was probably the best thing I needed so that worked out for me. The program is very liberal and emphasizes social justice in environmental management, which is fine, but they definitely prefer the US government to control the environmental realm in the US but are ok with the rest of the world becoming privatized, which I think is ethnocentric, but overall, I did not have a bad experience here and probably got the same thing i may have gotten at other universities for a cheaper price.
