" There may seem like there is nothing to do in Storrs, but it is what you make of it. I've made amazing memories here. You can go to concerts at Jorgensen, cheer on the men's and women's basketball teams at Gampel. NYC and Boston are a drive away. There are fantastic areas for hiking, and UConn Forest is readily accessible. Faculty in the sciences are accomplished and excellent lecturers, for the most part. "

" Great school for in-state students, not as big of campus as people make it seem. There are a lot of clubs and activities for students to create their own bubble. Professors are very nice and approachable and TA's offer a lot of help when needed. "

" My academic experience was well worth the price tag and I have a very high opinion of almost all of the professors and students I encountered in my 4 years at UConn. It's a large school; I'd call it a microcosm of the diverse world that exists outside of campus, which is exactly what I wanted. There are over 300 (possibly more at this point) clubs for students to join and it seems there is a place for everyone to fit in socially. The one thing I will say is that you do have to seek these opportunities out, considering the school is so large. If you want to stand out academically, you have to put forth additional effort to make connections with professors and find your own ways to build your resume.
I met some of my best friends at UConn, thrived in its challenging learning environment, and would go back in a heartbeat if I could. "

" Good school for academic programs, but could be better with admins, wifi, parking and maintaining a social scene. Food options are decent, but bus system and it's tracking app could be better. Mental health department is good if you can get it, but it defiantly needs more attention. "

" The theatre arts department at UConn is really strong. I had good opportunities working on shows and gaining practical experience. It's a good place for an international student to learn and get used to living in America. The coursework can be heavy, especially for graduate students, but it prepares you well for working professionally. "
