" I enjoy my experience here and the clinical psych program I am a part of is wonderful. That staff is great and they really care about your learning and development. The people I met here are some of the nicest people I know and I have made some lifelong friends here. The campus is relatively small and has a nice homey feel. I liked being there for some time before COVID hit "

" Great University if you pick the right program. Unless you get a scholarship or have family legacy, do not go here for a general degree (English, communication, math, etc.). Only go for one of these 3 schools: Barney School of Business, Hart School, and/or College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture. Not worth the price for any others. Pick a degree that will actually get you a job. I did Acoustics, definitely worth it for that and you will have no issue getting a job months before you graduate. Probably similar with other engineering disciplines and majors at the business school as well. Hartt has some great teachers and some bad teachers. Campus housing is horrible, both in quality and price, think about living off campus sooner rather than later. Meal choices are below adequate. Campus is small and easily traversable. You will make a lot of good memories roasting UofH's shortcomings with your friends. You will have a positive experience overall. "

" Nice school. Way too expensive. Terrible food and lack of retention. Most people end up transferring after their first year. Some what of a commuter school I found it hard to meet new people and make friends. The hart school and the Hartford art school are fantastic but I can’t say the same about the other schools in the university. "
