 " Nice campus, but somewhat toxic environment. Some buildings and labs are gorgeous but some others are a disgrace. Food is okay, but expensive and not too many options available. Overall it's an okay experience. "

 " My major specifically includes a 2 week intensive course that can be taken in either the winter or between spring and summer classes - the course is 8 hours a day for 14 days in a row and it is really expensive - not built in to semester costs and financial aid can't be used for it. The course is a nightmare to try and take for anyone who works full time, which is ridiculous considering that they advertised the graduate programs to prospective students as having full time working professionals in mind.  " Solid school, and you meet a lot of people who are interested in the same things. DC is great for internships and career growth in particular. I'd also say that profs often work in dc while teaching and are knowledgeable. "

 " I was there for Graduate School (Ph.D.). Overall experience was positive, but grad school is a different experience than undergrad.  Lots of great faculty and students in the Psychology Department.  The campus itself was nice, DC is a major city with things to do, and the mid-Atlantic region is a great part of the country. "
