" Studying in GU, you will find yourself very happy. It provides an environment that fosters intellectual growth and exploration. Students are exposed to a wide range of subjects and ideas, allowing them to delve deeper into areas of interest and discover new passions. The opportunity to engage in intellectual discussions, interact with professors and fellow students, and access a variety of resources contributes to personal and academic growth. It is also diverse and inclusive, with students from various backgrounds and cultures. Interacting with people from different walks of life exposes students to different perspectives, ideas, and cultures. This exposure promotes empathy, cultural understanding, and critical thinking, enriching the overall educational experience. "

" I think overall the professors are all great with a lot of real-life experience since they are all adjunct professors. The school is relatively new so there aren’t that many traditional clubs or activities within the school. It’s also not an actual campus and away from the other schools within the university. There are many international students so it’s a great opportunity to learn and meet students from everywhere. There are also virtual and in-person classes as options for students. "

" As a grad student at Georgetown at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, I thought the school was accommodating. I am in an online program, but feel involved in campus activities as if I was attending classes in person. Overall, I have nothing but good things to say about my time in the online program thus far. I can't speak to on-campus/in-person classes. "

" While I think Georgetown has a lot of work to do, especially for BIPOC and disabled people, the education is unmatched for government, economics, pre-law, and even in my case of film and media, there are small cohorts for a more family-like atmosphere if that is what you are looking for. There are some of the best professors in the world here (as well as the worst unfortunately, albeit not very many). The lack of amenities are hard to look over however. "

" I feel like I got a lot out of my time at Georgetown and the network I found was incredible. I found amazing friends through clubs and social groups on campus and was able to find a job straight out of school through the alumni network. "
