 " The university is more preeminent in small sections rather than as a whole. For example the technology and coursework can either be updated to the latest material available or 20 years old. This depends on the professor and is about 50/50 "

 " Great university for local students. Not as expensive as other schools and is a safe option if you aren't comfortable with going too far for school. Definitely consider this school if you are still unsure about what you want your focus to be. Some facilities are relatively dated but the school is always undergoing some kind of renovation. "

 " This is the only university I have attended but I feel like a lot of the qualities it has would be pretty synonymous with other universities. What I do think stands out about FAU is pride in the diversity of its students. There are also frequent training courses in campus safety, diversity, and inclusion, all of which show the university's dedication to providing a safe learning environment. The dean of the university also gives regular updates to students when needed, which is worth mentioning. "

 " FAU is a great school. The professors and students are great. Everyone is friendly and I feel that I am receiving a good education. My only real complaint is that Boca Raton is a very expensive area and it is hard to survive on a student budget. This is not necessarily the fault of the school, though. If given the chance to do it again, I would still choose FAU. "

 " Affordable and decent experience attending FAU. I would suggest it for people that don't want the typical on campus experience or a less costly option for getting a degree. Transfer with a two year degree in-state. "
