 " I am a first semester student at the campus, and it feels very friendly. The campus has lots of things to do. There is even a student lounge area to play video games or hangout with friends. Career counselors are pretty good in helping you choose which courses fits you needs. The campus also has a Job Prep Service (HR) and much more if you look at their website: http://www.leeward.hawaii.edu/jobs-events. "

 " I chose this campus within the greater UH network because many of the classes I want to take were not available at the others. It's in a beautiful location next to Pearl Harbor. I was surprised by how good the teachers are, the level of academics is as good as any 4 year university but for less than half the cost. "

 " I think it’s a good community college with a lot of classes and accommodations. It doesn’t have everything but if you’re just looking to get in and out and get your degree, it’s a good school for you. It’s a bit challenging to meet new people but other than that it has good classes and teachers and it’s safe with generally good parking. "
